Introduction
Tsholo is an expansive contemporary safari lodge bordering a tambuti forest in the exclusive Black Rhino Game Reserve, a private area of Pilanesberg National Park. It has several attractions for guests including the Amani spa, two swimming pools, three viewing decks and a sleepout. When it opens in September 2026, it will be among the most luxurious lodges in the park.
The fine-dining cuisine is paired with top South African wines, all to be enjoyed in the beautiful dining areas.

Activities
Head out on morning and afternoon game drives and bring your binoculars for birding. Nature walks may also be available.

Location
Tsholo is built on Black Rhino Game Reserve, a private concession area within the malaria-free Pilanesberg National Park.
Directions
- From Johannesburg, take the R512 past Hartbeespoort Dam and exit onto the N4 towards Rustenburg.
- Follow the Pilanesberg signs past Sun City and turn right onto the R565.
- Another 27 kilometres on, you will find the entrance to Black Rhino Game Reserve on the right.
