Pilanesberg Day Tour
As a Big 5 Reserve – only 2.5 hours from Johannesburg – the Pilanesberg National Park is the perfect destination for travellers wanting a safari experience, but who are pressed for time. Our One Day Safari allows you to enjoy two scenic game drives punctuated by a light lunch before you’re transported back to the city.
Pilanesberg is home to more than 7,000 animals, including the Big 5, and 360 species of birds and promises thrilling game viewing in a malaria-free environment.
What to Expect
Maximise your experience of Pilanesberg with this One Day Safari as you begin your first game drive in the cool of the early morning when the animals are most active. After breaking for a light lunch, you will head out on your second game drive to round off your safari experience. The knowledgeable game rangers will share their extensive knowledge of the fauna and flora with you throughout your safari, providing you with the richest possible experience. Your day will end with a transfer back to Johannesburg.
With fixed morning departures from the DaVinci Hotel in Sandton, we cater to both the single traveller and groups alike. We additionally include all park entry fees to ensure ease of booking, and no unexpected fees on arrival at the park gate.

Full Day: JHB – Pilanesberg – JHB
06h00 – 09h00: Collection at DaVinci Hotel – transfer to Pilanesberg
09h00 – 12h00: Morning Game Drive (+/- 2.5 hours)
12h00 – 13h00: Comfort break including light lunch
13h00 – 15h00: Afternoon Game Drive and return to Pilanesberg gate (+/- 2 hours)
15h45 – 18h30: Exit the Pilanesberg and transfer back to DaVinci Hotel
